Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our initial 15-minute meet + greet consultation is your chance to get to know us.
You can ask questions, we will go over logistics, and we will ask you a little bit about what you are seeking treatment for.
Consultations are free and optional, and there is no obligation to book a session afterward.
Please note: We will be calling from a blocked number.

Our therapy intake session takes place by video or in person at our office.
For our intake, we ask you to complete an intake questionnaire and some screening questionnaires beforehand. During the intake session, we will go over your responses, ask any clarifying questions, and look at setting some goals for treatment. We will also go over confidentiality and informed consent.
Our 75-minute intake session allows us more time to review your questionnaires and come up with a treatment plan that best fits you.
Clients are encouraged to ask questions and provide feedback. The therapist will follow the client’s pace and comfort level during session.

For VIRTUAL appointments: we request 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes.

As caregivers ourselves, we understand that life can be unpredictable. If “life” happens, please do not hesitate to reach out to your therapist.
